You oversee the research, strategy, and ultimately, the implementation and success of our inbound marketing and content programs.

  • Act as the main point of contact for all content strategy-related projects with clients and between internal teams/departments
  • Design and optimize full pain-point-focused funnels
  • Write sales copy, edit blog copy, and  develop strategic messaging calendars
  • Ensure that content strategy aligns with the overarching account strategy, client goals, and paid traffic needs
  • Create content development roadmaps and timelines, along with measurable KPIs that ensure content investments will align with long-term business goals
  • Manage content creation process by overseeing content creators. Content includes both text-based content and rich media (e.g. video, infographics, creative, etc.).
  • Ensure that all content meets quality standards and brand guidelines set by both Digitopia and our clients


  • Comfortable writing copy and experienced in managing projects and driving marketing campaigns from start to finish
  • This role requires a brand publisher and lead generation mindset: to create the content our audience is looking for and then to optimize the path to conversion and show ROI
  • BA or BS undergraduate degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years working experience with content strategy at a digital media agency, marketing agency, or on an in-house marketing team
  • Experience developing messaging and copy for enterprise organizations. Must have experience developing or reviewing content and creative briefs. Experience developing taxonomy or writing style guides a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of communication techniques and best practices including developing and presenting written content for web and social media; and presentation of video, graphics, and other visual elements
  • Experience communicating directly with mid-sizre and enterprise-level clients
  • Ability to gain insight from data in order to make actionable recommendations including leveraging web analytics data to inform content optimization
  • Understanding of best practices of branded digital media including UX, UI, creative design, copywriting, Paid Media, SEO, CRM, and Social Media
  • Ability to provide high-quality work, customer service and demonstrate expert knowledge within the industry, and quickly become an expert in multiple business verticals
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including client presentations. Willing to learn. Good research and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, flexible, and a team player
  • 2+ years HubSpot knowledge and experience

Bonus Skills and Attributes

  • Experience working with B2B companies—specifically in the Technology and/or Financial sectors
