Paid Social Media Specialist

Please Note: This role is open to candidates based in the USA for local or "remote" work.

We are looking for an experienced Paid Social Media Specialist, with LinkedIn Ads experience, to develop, execute, and optimize paid digital marketing campaigns across our clients' social media platforms. In this role, your primary goals will be to own all tasks of campaign management, continually develop your paid social media skill set, and provide your clients and fellow team members with fantastic support.

  • Developing, executing, and optimizing funnel-based paid ad campaigns from conception to launch
  • Conducting in-depth research on the client, industry and competitors to develop targeting strategy (company, audience, demographics, interests, etc.)
  • Reviewing content and offers and making recommendations based on the buyer's journey and marketing funnel
  • Creating compelling ad copy and directing the creation of assets (images, videos, etc.)
  • Planning, forecasting and managing the overall budget for paid media campaigns
  • Working cross-departmentally to align campaign strategies and goals across the organization
  • Providing ongoing actionable insights into campaign performance for relevant stakeholders
  • Defining, measuring, and evaluating relevant paid media KPIs
  • Overseeing the day-to-day strategy and execution of paid social media campaigns to ensure goals are being met
  • Looking for opportunities to improve performance, finding inefficiencies and suggesting improvements to campaigns through data analysis
  • Preparing meaningful reports based on performance data, goals and expected results, while making recommendations to continue to grow results
  • Maintaining knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies

From time-to-time, you will be required to travel for work. Required travel can only be rejected during verified medical or family emergencies. The anticipated frequency of travel for this position is estimated to be 1-2 times per year.

Required Skills

  • Must have at least 2+ years of recent experience managing LinkedIn Ads or Facebook Ads (preferably in an agency environment)
  • Proficiency in targeting (company, audience, interest, behavior, etc.) conversion analysis, and landing page analysis
  • Understanding funnel-based marketing and how to reach, engage and move user's through the buyer's journey
  • Experience in data analysis and creating client-facing reports
  • Knowledge of inbound marketing concepts
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Understanding of marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Marketo, etc.)
  • Sound communication and facilitation skills to manage projects and positively influence campaigns
  • Strong sense of ownership, drive and urgency
