LinkedIn Lead Generation Specialist

Notice: This is a full-time position open to local (San Diego, CA) and remote applicants (US only).

We are looking for an experienced sales copywriter that’s well versed in the psychology of buying to create copy for LinkedIn inmail campaigns. In the role of LinkedIn Lead Generation Specialist, you will be responsible for driving qualified sales leads, which include, but not limited to the following day-to-day activities: researching, building a targeted audience, crafting sales copy, outreaching via LinkedIn, engaging leads, and booking appointments as part of a value-first approach to outbound prospecting. You will play an integral role in delivering wins to our clients as part of our proven Digital Utopia Methodology.

You must have a strong background in sales copywriting for digital lead generation in at least one of the following channels: social media, content marketing, email marketing, or paid ads. Outbound phone sales experience is a plus. 

You are a focused relationship builder, with strong communication and follow-up skills who can identify opportunities, develop engaging sales copy, nurture leads and help prospects to book a phone appointment.

Superior communication skills and a highly optimistic attitude are a must.

Responsibilities: 

  • Researching, developing audience targeting, prospecting and qualifying leads
  • Developing sales copy and scripts
  • Successfully and accurately answering prospect questions and tracking progress
  • Consistently maintaining departmental standards to ensure quality control
  • Achieving defined productivity goals
  • Meeting all company policies and procedures
  • Communicating and working with the team to ensure campaigns are successful
  • Updating CRM with lead status and ensuring information is up to date

Travel
From time-to-time, you will be required to travel for work. Required travel can only be rejected during verified medical or family emergencies. The anticipated frequency of travel for this position is estimated to be 1-2 times per quarter.

Required Skills

  • 1+ years of sales copywriting in at least one of the following channels: social media, content marketing, email marketing, or paid ads
  • Proven results in building outbound sales campaigns, including sales copy and scripts
  • Experience building audience targeting based on a persona with specific pain points
  • Experience creating funnel-based sales copy to move prospects through the buyer’s journey
  • Effective in answering sales questions, overcoming objectives and screening prospects to turn them into booked leads
  • Excellent written, oral, organizational and multitasking skills, with superior attention to detail
  • Efficiency in working with spreadsheets and CRMs to update statuses
  • Hard-working and goal-oriented work ethics
  • A team-play who is friendly and enthusiastic
  • Strong listening skills
