Do you enjoy doing custom development work and leveraging integrations to help clients get the most out of their HubSpot investment? 

Then this job is perfect for you!

The HubSpot Developer role at Digitopia is responsible for helping clients operationalize their marketing, sales, and service activities in an effort to help implement our proprietary inbound marketing framework—The Digital Utopia Methodology. To accomplish this, the HubSpot Developer will develop integrations, point-and-click solutions, and/or custom solutions.

Working in tandem with our Inbound Marketing Strategists and HubSpot Technologists, you will implement all development strategies on HubSpot.

Here's an overview of the ideal candidate for this opportunity:

  • 2+ years of experience working within HubSpot at a technical level
  • HubSpot Inbound Certified
  • Expertise in Java Script development
  • Strong understanding of CRM and how related marketing, sales, and service platforms connect
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with HTML, CSS, and J-query
  • General understanding of PHP
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and, specifically, Salesforce integrations with HubSpot

Responsibilities

  • Work with our Strategists and HubSpot Technologist to set up HubSpot to support our proprietary framework, The Digital Utopia Methodology and customize our client's HubSpot accounts. 
  • Work in 90-day intervals to continue to build out each client’s HubSpot platform and track the effectiveness of their Marketing, Sales, and Service strategies. 
  • HubSpot template customization: email, landing page, webpage, etc/
  • Marketing program support and execution, including segmentation, lead scoring, A/B testing, workflows, and sequences.
  • Interface with client’s sales teams to ensure leads are tracked, routed correctly, and attributed to the correct campaigns.
  • Set up and maintain 3rd party integrations with HubSpot
  • Understand and evaluate campaign metrics and distribute campaign performance to the marketing team.
  • Plan and perform A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth.
  • Support essential marketing operations initiatives in HubSpot and the CRM such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing.
  • Collaborate with clients’ sales and marketing teams to build programs that support sales enablement.

Required Skills and Attributes

  • 2+ years of experience working within HubSpot at a technical level
  • HubSpot Inbound Certified
  • Expertise in Java Script development
  • Strong understanding of CRM and how related marketing, sales, and service platforms connect
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with HTML, CSS, and J-query
  • General understanding of PHP
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and, specifically, Salesforce integrations with HubSpot
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field (or similar work experience)
  • Basic knowledge of database management concepts and best practices
  • Working knowledge of closed-loop reporting
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Organized and self-motivated with a sense of urgency
  • Project management skills
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervision
  • Able to think critically and exercise independent judgment and discretion
  • Basic HTML & CSS proficiency
  • Attention to detail
  • HubSpot Inbound Certified

Bonus Skills and Attributes

  • HubSpot Sales Software Certified
  • HubSpot Marketing Software Certified
  • HubSpot Service Software Certified
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with Pardot and/or Marketo a plus
