What You’ll Do

About the Job Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Accounting/Office Assistant to provide part-time support to the Finance Director with accurate and timely data entry, as well as other office related tasks. The Assistant will handle a range of accounting tasks to include A/P, A/R, and C/R using QBO, and Google platforms to ensure daily activity is up-to-date for further review. General office tasks ranging from overseeing office supply inventory, mail distribution, office organization, to providing occasional help with misc office activities.

About You

You have 1-3 years of general clerical/office experience, with 1+ years of accounting related work. You are a professional, detail-oriented individual. You have exceptional organization, communication skills, and proficient computer skills are a must.

The ideal candidate will be an energetic team player who takes initiative, is reliable, and has a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities: 

  • Inputting data and account information into QuickBooks
  • Digital filing
  • Accounts Receivable monitoring
  • Various AR and AP clerk duties
  • Expense receipt reconciling
  • Cash Receipts
  • Mail distribution, including email correspondence
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive materials
  • Purchase and organize all office-related items (i.e. supplies, snacks, gifts, etc.)
  • Office activities support, and help with other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • 1-3 years of general clerical/office experience
  • 1+ years of accounting related work
  • Proficient with computers and technology platforms, QuickBooks a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
